EU Social Exclusion & Youth

The EU has developed common objectives in the field of social exclusion. One of the key issues in this strategy is combating the poverty of children and young people. The member states have developed action plans. The action plan of the Netherlands can be found at:

The Netherlands Youth Institute is a member of Eurochild, an European network of children’s organisations. One of the key priorities of Eurochild is combating child poverty and the social exclusion strategy of the EU.
